Queen Mary success in East London and Surrounds Inter-Varsity Mooting Competition

Queen Mary, University of London was represented by two teams in the new East London and Surrounds Inter-Varsity Mooting Competition at Stratford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 17 November 2010.

Both teams competed against Birbeck University and were victorious. For the first moot, the Queen Mary team (Rachel Coyle and Adriana Boscariol) were declared the overall winners. Roya Jafari was judged best mooter in the second moot, and Shruti Sharma was highly commended. The panel commented in particular on the meticulous preparation and hard work that all the Queen Mary students had undertaken.
