Professor Geraldine Van Bueren gives an insight to the legal profession in South Africa for lawyers potentially visiting the country for the World Cup.
She says: “South Africa follows the European Union model - its three branches of government are located in three different cities, all hosting World Cup games. Pretoria, the capital, is the home of the executive, Johannesburg the judiciary and Cape Town the legislature.”
