Lesson plans for primary school students

The I am You Project runs annually at Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre, with undergraduate Law students developing and delivering bespoke interactive workshops in local schools in Tower Hamlets.

The workshops are based around the protected characteristics within the Equality Act 2010. The workshops are aimed at primary school Key Stage 2 students, specifically students in years 4-6.  The workshops encourage the students to consider different aspects of themselves, such as their identities and the communities that they belong to.  This academic year, our undergraduate Law students developed a series of workshops that they delivered in various Primary Schools in the Tower Hamlets area. They have created an online pack of this series of workshops as a downloadable resource.

Each lesson has a lesson plan and PowerPoint slide pack to follow.
