Bilal Bin Saqib, alumnus of the School of Business and Management and current Advisory Board member, has been awarded an MBE for services to the NHS and to the community in Stanmore, London Borough of Harrow in the King’s Birthday Honours 2023.
Bilal was the Co-Founder of One Million Meals, a campaign created during lockdown 2020 in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The project involved providing key workers like NHS staff, police, school staff, and firefighters with free meals during the COVID-19 crisis, by raising funds and working with food platforms, food chains and restaurants.
Bilal graduated from SBM in 2011 with a BSc in Business Management.
