When: Tuesday, July 4, 2023, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: People's Palace 1 Queen Mary University of London Mile End Campus London E1 4NS, Mile End Campus

Speaker: Yasmin Ibrahim, Professor of Digital Economy and Culture

This event is organised by ‘Storytelling Unboxed’, a social venture, pedagogic intervention, and an initiative at Queen Mary University of London. With three core values - Voice, Therapy, and Recovery - 'Storytelling Unboxed' provides a platform to engage, inspire, commemorate human values and celebrate narratives of survival, loss and recovery.

In this session, Yasmin Ibrahim, Professor of Digital Economy and Culture and Head of the Department of Marketing at the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London, explores AI and human intimacies as part of our lived social reality today. By uncovering the interplay between human and non-human intelligence, she sets the ground to unbox our fantasies and fascination with AI through time.
