My PhD research focusses on capsule sponge oesophageal cancer screening and specifically hopes to investigate barriers and facilitators of participation. The project will also involve co-design to create information materials for potential participants to promote informed decision-making. I have previously worked within the CC-SPED as a research assistant working with Dr Laura Marlow on a behavioural science project investigating the psychological impact and acceptability of Multi-cancer Early Detection tests. I am a mixed methods researcher and have experience in survey design, interviews and focus groups. ResearchResearch Interests:I am interested in cancer screening and early prevention behaviour science. I have particular interests in informed decision making, health inequities and novel technologies and interventions.
