Profile

I am a 1st year PhD student. My supervisors are Professor Jo Waller and Dr Emma Lidington. My PhD research focusses on capsule sponge oesophageal cancer screening and specifically hopes to investigate barriers and facilitators of participation. The project will also involve co-design to create information materials for potential participants to promote informed decision-making.

I have previously worked within the CC-SPED as a research assistant working with Dr Laura Marlow on a behavioural science project investigating the psychological impact and acceptability of Multi-cancer Early Detection tests.

I am a mixed methods researcher and have experience in survey design, interviews and focus groups.
