Profile

Christian Turner is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Britain and Europe, based within the Department of Politics at the University of Surrey. His research examines post-Brexit British Foreign Policy through formal and informal alliances, with a particular focus on UK-France relations, the E3 (UK, France, Germany), Global Britain and the Indo-Pacific tilt. He has previously worked extensively on Brexit, both within Whitehall and as a researcher at the Centre for European Studies (CEFEUS) at Canterbury Christ Church University. Christian holds a BSc in International Relations with American Studies, and an LLM in International Law.
