Our research comprises five major projects that aim to investigate the connections between metabolism, chronic inflammation, and obesity-driven diseases.
Our research groups are currently focused on studying metabolic inflammation and aging, adipose tissue and breast cancer, cardiac metabolism in heart failure, activating brown fat to treat obesity, and fructose’s impact on fatty liver disease.
