The Blizard Institute is the largest of the six research institutes which make up The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) 93 per cent of our research impact was of 4* (outstanding) or 3* (very considerable) quality in terms of reach and significance. Our world leading translational research focuses on clinical medicine, primary care and public health.
