We are very proud of our campus at Queen Mary - the only campus university in central London. Located on the beautiful Regent's Canal, next to 200 acres of parkland, we are just a short ride on the Central Line from Oxford Street, the British Library, the Westgate Centre and the Olympic Park. Brick Lane, Cable Street and the old London docks are all within walking distance, putting you at the heart of one of the most historic parts of London.
Why not come and see for yourself?
Every year several hundred candidates visit us for an interview day. In addition to a short academic interview, we provide campus tours, talks on various aspects of college life and the chance to meet some of our current undergraduates. More information can be found on our interviews page.
Our "Taster Days" allow you to try out a day of university study, with a menu of classes and lectures tailored to your A Level studies. With options ranging from the First Crusade to the life of Nelson Mandela, there is something for all interests. More information can be found on our Taster days page.
We will be holding a series of teachers' forums. All history teachers are very warmly invited to attend. The dates will be in June. Please check back in February for an update on specific dates.
These sessions provide an opportunity for history teachers to exchange information and to establish networks that can provide further support. We are interested in particular in exploring resources for the new coursework element. At each of these Teachers’ Forums we will also discuss university admissions and the teaching and learning experience at Queen Mary.
We will pay travel expenses for all participants and provide refreshments throughout the day. If you are interested in attending please email Patrick Higgins, Director of Student Recruitment: firstname.lastname@example.org(link sends e-mail).
We are happy to arrange tours of the campus at any time during the year. Please contact email@example.com(link sends e-mail) to arrange a visit.
We hold many public lectures and events throughout the year and are always pleased to invite students and teachers. Follow us on twitter @QMHistory(link is external) for news of forthcoming events, and email firstname.lastname@example.org(link sends e-mail) to reserve tickets.
