He has previously worked as a consultant in the Periodontology department at the University of Milan, Italy, and is the recipient of the 2015 ITI (International Team for Implantology) scholarship. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral programme in biomedical sciences (Periodontology) at KU Leuven, Belgium. At the Centre for Oral Clinical Research, his main interest is computer-aided dentistry, specifically digital scanning, computer-aided treatment planning and computer-aided design of surgical guides.
