Our guest speaker, Panagiotis Vavougios, is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted in Greece and, in England & Wales. He is a CCLS alumnus, holding two LLM degrees from Queen Mary University of London in Commercial & Corporate Law and International Shipping Law. He is currently seconded to BNP Paribas Financing LEGAL team where he advises on cross-border and asset finance transactions. Panagiotis has previously worked at an English law firm and in the legal department of a Big Four firm."

This session is designed to inspire both incoming students and legal professionals. Drawing on his experience, our speaker will explore different career pathways and the important connection between law and finance in cross-border transactions. The discussion will also highlight the evolving role of lawyers in addressing legal, commercial, and sustainability considerations in today's global environment.
