Raising and Giving Committee members

Lead on the Union's Raising and Giving activity throughout the academic year, and facilitate fundraising for local and national charities.

This is a great way to acquire experience, as it allows you to develop skills such as communication, team working and project organisation that you can use on future applications. For those exploring their career options, becoming a Raising and Giving committee member is also a great way to start building new experiences and see where your strengths lay.

Why take part?

As well as fundraising experience and gaining experience of working in the Charity sector, you are likely to gain a wide variety of skills including communication and team working, as well as project organisation and planning skills.

Commitement

Particular to when events are being run throughout the year, and RAG week will take up much time.
