When: Friday, June 9, 2023 - Saturday, June 10, 2023, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Perrin Lecture Theatre, Blizard Building, 4 Newark Street, London E1 2AT

Bringing together professional development and social networking opportunities for alumni, students, staff and friends of the Institute of Dentistry, the Barts and The London Dental Club Annual Clinical Meeting is an ideal opportunity for you to meet with colleagues and former classmates, make new contacts, gain CPD points and hear about current developments and innovations in dentistry from expert speakers. See the full programme: Barts and The London Dental Club Annual Clinical Meeting 2023 - Programme [DOC 30KB]

Dr Amitha Ranauta (Dentistry BDS, 1996), President of the Barts and The London Dental Club and Centre Lead for Teaching and Innovation and Reader in Professionalism Education at the Institute of Dentistry, invites you to join this two-day programme of carefully curated talks.

Following the theme of 'Post Pandemic: Looking back and looking forwards', topics include dentistry now and then, the evolution of dental hygiene and therapy, the changing population and workforce planning, the pursuit of happiness, and dentistry for the ageing dentate. We will also hear about the role of an expert witness and the global work of dental charity, Dentaid and have the opportunity to learn more about the latest developments at the Dental School with a session on haptics and a special tour of our new Haptics Suite.

We look forward to presenting Dr Alan Cruchley with the Slack Medal in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Dental School, and to hearing from Dr Sara Hurley, Chief Dental Officer England, who will deliver this year's Evelyn Sprawson Lecture.
