1st QMUL Economics and Finance Workshop for PhD & Post-doctoral students

The School of Economic and Finance at Queen Mary, University of London is organising the 1st Economics and Finance workshop for external PhD & Post-doctoral students. The workshop will bring together researchers working on areas of Economics and Finance aiming to create a stimulating environment for participants to discuss and receive valuable feedback on pressing issues in the relevant fields.

Presenters will benefit from feedback by QMUL Faculty Members acting as discussants, which include:
Dr. Alessandra Bonfiglioli; Dr. Francesco Fasani; Prof. Liudas Giraitis; Dr. Elise Gourier; Prof. Xavier Mateos-Planas; Dr. Christopher Tyson; Dr. Tatsuro Senga.

The QMUL Workshop welcomes applications from PhD & Postdoctoral students at an advanced research phase and will provide a unique opportunity for presenters to discuss their projects, practice their presentation skills, and network with their peers and wider academic community.

The two-day workshop will consist of a mix of parallel and plenary sessions covering the following broad research-fields: Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Finance, Theoretical Microeconomics, and Applied Microeconomics.
