Student Support Services
You are able to access our support services online and in-person. Please click on the name of the service you are interest in to access their webpage to review ways to contact that service and current in-person opening hours.
- AskQM is our online enquiry platform for students. You can view our Knowledge Articles to find answers to your questions or log in to AskQM and raise an enquiry if you require further support. All Schools/Institutes and a number of Student Services use AskQM to support students.
- AskQM Hubs: General support for students from the Frontline Enquiry Response Team covering a range of topics including enrolment, ID cards, official letters, travel discounts and more. They can help you with general questions and signposting.
- Advice and Counselling Service: Provide a range of confidential, specialist services to help students with financial, immigration and practical matters, and to support them with their mental health and wellbeing.
- Careers and Employability: Helps Queen Mary students and graduates prepare for success after university and offer programmes to enhance your employability.
- Disability and Dyslexia Service: Offers support and guidance to students with disabilities on a range of student issues including accommodation, diagnostic screening and assessment, Examination Access Arrangements and more.
- IT Services: Offers guidance on your username and password, accessing your email, setting up Eduroam wifi, printing and more.
- Housing Services: Provides support for students without accommodation on finding suitable housing during your studies and they manage applications for halls, room allocations and residential fee payments.
- Residential Services: This team look after you once you have moved into Queen Mary Halls, ensuring your time in accommodation is comfortable and supporting you to adjust to life in Halls.
- Students' Union: A student-led, not-for-profit charity that represents and supports all students, offering a vast range of clubs and societies, facilities and shops.
- Student Health Service: A free service available on the Mile End Campus.
Academic Schools and Institutes
Your main way of contacting your School/Institute is by logging into AskQM and raising an enquiry under the relevant category.
You may be able to visit and speak to staff during opening hours. Please review your School/Institute's contact page for further details.
