During the third semester, I helped lead the co-creation of a LaTeX thesis template for the QMUL-BUPT Joint Programme, aiming to solve the practical issue of academic formatting in final-year thesis writing. The template integrates the formatting standards of both universities and is specially optimized to support Chinese typography, automated table generation, figure indexing, and equation typesetting. This allows students to focus on their thesis content. I also helped prepare material for multiple online workshops and offline teaching sessions to guide fellow students in using the template for efficiency. The template is now deployed on QMUL’s online learning platform and continues to be refined based on ongoing student feedback, effectively supporting the academic thesis writing process.
