During the third year of my BSc Biology degree, I had the opportunity to support small groups of second year students through the PLTL (Peer Led Team Learning) program, helping them to improve their statistical techniques. Alongside my studies, I also founded and acted as president of the universities Biology Society. Through this, I helped organise and host events to support the curriculum. Most of our events were run alongside lecturers, allowing students to bond with the academics outside the classroom and improving our overall educational experience. These activities were incredibly enjoyable and helped improve my organisation and leadership skills.
