Professor Philip Cowley, The Liberal Democrats bet on a Brexit election. It hasn't paid off

Polls suggest the Liberal Democrats will gain barely any seats at all on June eight. Analysts predict that they will struggle to win back its seats in rural, Eurosceptic areas, especially in South West England, according to an article in Time. Professor Philip Cowley said: “The Tories are getting 30 per cent of Remain voters and will win about two thirds of leave voters, while the plurality of Remain voters will go for Labour.”
