The Network Service provides wired connection with access to the Internet, Intranet and College IT systems, services and applications.

Staff and student Wi-Fi is provided by eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

Guest and visitor Wi-Fi 'QM-Visitor' provides free wireless access to all Queen Mary visitors and guests. The service is provided in partnership with BT and is available at all QMUL sites.

The QM-Visitor wireless service is ‘Friendly Wi-Fi’ certified. Friendly Wi-Fi is the government-initiated safe certification standard for public Wi-Fi.
