Postdoctoral Research Associate in Multiscale, Multimodal, Foundation Models for Medicine and Healthcare - Deadline July 13th 2025
We are looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral research associate (PDRA) to join the research group of Professor Venet Osmani. You will be a key member of the Osmani Lab at DERI, contributing to our development and the success of our mission, and we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic at the idea of contributing to the building of Professor Osmani's lab at Queen Mary. Research will focus on identifying and publishing results in methods to build foundation models, using multimodal and multiscale health data.

Institute Manager (Maternity Cover) - Deadline July 6th 2025
An opportunity has arisen in the Digital Environment Research Institute to provide maternity cover for the Institute Manager position. The role will be available from mid-August, for a period of 12 months. The role is multi-faceted and the successful candidate will oversee, and lead the operational aspects of the Institute, including managing the Institute’s budgets, research portfolio, HR and professional services aspects, as well as estates, and health and safety requirements.
Priorities during the 12 month period will be focused on maintaining the growth of the institute, providing holistic operational support, including supporting the expansion of the research portfolio, and maximising financial return to the department.
