Professor Richard Bourke has been invited by the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung (link is external) to present research from his forthcoming book Empire and Revolution: The Political Life of Edmund Burke. Professor Richard Bourke will give a lecture on 'Edmund Burke and the Origins of Conservatism' at the Carl Friedrich Siemens Foundation in Munich on 6 November. The Siemens Stiftung is an independent institution for the advancement of science and awards fellowships to outstanding academics.
