We are delighted to announce that Professor Colin Jones has been appointed CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours 2014, for services to historical research and higher education (link is external). Professor Jones is a social and cultural historian of France with interests focusing around the eighteenth century, including the French Revolution and the history of medicine.
