A conference will be held at the Institute of Historical Research, London, on 7-8 November 2013 to celebrate the contribution of Professor Jim Bolton to the study of medieval history. For more than forty years Jim Bolton has been based here, and is currently Professorial Research Fellow, directing the Borromei Bank Research Project.

The conference will present current research from more than twenty scholars working on a range of themes connected with Jim's work, including keynote lectures by Professor Caroline Barron (RHUL) and Professor Phillipp Schofield (Aberwystwyth). ‘Early bird’ booking rates are available until 30 September.
