Expanding the History Curriculum: Perspectives on Experiences and Solutions

14 October 2019

Time: 6:00 - 7:30pm
Venue: ArtsTwo Lecture Theatre

The School of History at Queen Mary University of London is holding a panel to discuss creating a more inclusive curriculum. QMUL has the highest percentage of BAME students in the Russell Group, we would like our curriculum to reflect this diversity. To open a discussion on what creating inclusivity within the curriculum entails, we are hosting a panel discussion with audience participation. We hope that hearing the expertise and experiences of academics outside QMUL will show us different approaches and help us understand how to get better. The Panel:

Dr. Manjeet Ramgotra Lavinya Stennett Dr. Harshad Keval

STUDENTS ARE WELCOME & ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE

Followed by an alcohol-free reception.
