Mr Adel Houmani

Profile

Adel qualified from Barts & the London School of Medicine and Dentistry with a BTEC National Diploma in Science (Dental Technology). In 2005 he gained employment at the Institute of Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, where he worked as a Prosthetic and Prosthodontics Technician. During this time Adel studied for his PDC in Dental Technology and gained considerable experience in all aspects of Removable Prosthodontics. In 2007 he worked in a private lab (Shirley Hill Dental Ceramics) promoting prosthetics work for the lab.

In 2009 Adel started employment with Queen Mary University of London as a Tutor in Dental Technology, for BDS undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, providing tutorials, practical intruction and support. He is a CPD in-house courses organiser. 

In 2015 Adel became the lead technical and skills lab manager, in charge of the Pros Lab organising undergraduate and postgraduate courses, timetabling teaching and health and safety, supporting the manager of the skills lab with health and safety, staff rota and CPD courses.
