Profile

Sally has been a dental technician for 17 years, specialising in crown and bridge. Sally also teaches in the Prosthetic teaching lab on the 3rd floor. Shw worked in the porcelain room on the 1st floor before moving up to the teaching lab. She was based in comerical labs and worked for Guys for 2 years prior to that.
Sally studied for a Foundation degree in Dental Technology in Lambeth, then A BA (hons) in Humanities specialising in religious studies with the Open university, and she completed her 2 year PGCert in learning and teaching at Queen Mary.

Teaching

Sally teaches years 2-4 BDS on topics relating to dental technology including a 3 week introduction to CAD/CAM, she also teaches on the MSc in Dental Technology, covering articulation and CAD/CAM fabricated implant retained crowns.

Research Interests:

 

Sally presented ‘Teaching using Computer Aided design to Enhance Student Participation and Satisfaction’ at the IADR in 2018.
