Projects and Supervisors

Overview

On this page you will find details on the two routes available to apply to the Leverhulme Living With Waste Doctoral Programme.

Route A: Develop a proposal on a named topic with a named supervisor. Below you will see the projects advertised for 2027 PhD starts. You are advised to contact the supervisor in advance of applying.

Route B: Open call to develop a PhD proposal from any discipline on the theme ‘Waste Futures’. You will see below a list of supervisors, their disciplines, and the topics and research areas they are interested in for doctoral supervision. If you have an idea that you would like to pursue you should contact the supervisor directly to inquire about applying.
