Summer 2025 Tuition Fees
If you choose to study for 2 sessions you automatically receive a tuition fee discount

Discounts
If you are a Queen Mary student, Queen Mary alumni, University of London student from another University or a student from a Queen Mary partner institution you will get a 10% discount on your fee.
You can check here to see if your university is a Queen Mary summer school partner
If you are not from a partner university as long as you apply and pay before 31 March 2025 you are eligible for a 10% Early Bird discount.
Students from a partner university can only receive a 10% discount and are not eligible for both an early bird and a partner discount.
Housing Costs Summer 2025
You can choose to live in our housing on our Mile End Campus at France House, which is part of our student village or make your own living arrangements for the duration of the summer school.
France House offers a single room and private bathroom:

Living Costs
London can be an expensive city, but it also an incredibly student-friendly city. Before you arrive on campus, we will provide you with information to help you budget for your stay and make the most of all the student perks the city has to offer in our countdown newsletters.

Additional Costs: Social Activities
There will be additional costs during the Summer School that you should account for, such as social programme events you might want to sign up to.
In 2025 we will offer a pay-as-you-go social programme which includes visits to sites and attractions around London as well as free activities to help you make friends during your time here. We will release details of this and how you can sign up to it early in May 2025.
How To Make Payment
Credit Card Payments
Payment links to our e-shop are sent as part of your acceptance letter. This will provide links to pay by credit card and will automatically link you to the correct amount, taking into account any discounts you are eligible for.
Payment via Bank Transfer
If you wish to pay by bank transfer, you must send us the remittance advice (proof payment/transfer) from your bank to summerschool@qmul.ac.uk.
Ask your bank to include the following on the remittance:
- Your name as specified in your application
- The reference QMUL SUMMER SCHOOL IOF2026B
We need your remittance advice (proof of payment/transfer) to match your payment to your record. Please also specify in your email to us if you are paying for tuition, accommodation, or both.
Please make the payment in pounds sterling (GBP) and make sure you pay any bank charges separately to ensure you only need to make one payment.
