Dr Eliza Hunt is the Outreach, Widening Participation and Public Engagement Officer in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences.
Eliza's background is in chemistry; she obtained an MChem degree from the University of Liverpool in 2017, and in 2022 completed her PhD at the University of Bristol where she investigated fluorescent nanoparticles for cancer drug delivery. Whilst undertaking her PhD, Eliza was involved in lots of outreach activities with Bristol ChemLabS. She developed a passion for outreach, which led to her pursuing a career in this field.
Eliza is responsible for the planning and delivery of the School's physics and chemistry outreach activities. Additionally, Eliza is on the Small Grants Panel for the Centre for Public Engagement.
