Prysmian S.p.A. takes first place at the 2026 QUMMIF Final Investment Competition

Ten finalist student teams pitched their investment strategies to a panel of top industry experts at the annual Queen Mary Masters Investment Fund (QUMMIF) Final Investment Competition 2026.

The event marked the end of a rigorous year-long program in which postgraduate students conducted market analysis, equity research, and portfolio valuation—bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world capital management.

This year’s top-performing investment pitches were:

  • 1st Place: Prysmian S.p.A.

  • 2nd Place: discoverIE Group plc

  • 3rd Place (Joint): Sage Group plc & AstraZeneca plc
