What specialties do banks require?

Professor George Skiadopoulos has featured in the Greek newspaper, Kathimerini on the banking industry in the digital era. He said: "The Greek banking industry is being transformed, having entered the era of digital transformation. Significant opportunities for competent graduates of business schools exist in the departments which lead the operations of the banks. In the new era, banks are looking for executives with knowledge in subjects such as big data analysis, artificial intelligence, financial technology (fintech) and ESG (Environmental - Social - Governance). Universities and the banking sector need to collaborate on revising the curriculum of the university studies accordingly."
