Barbara Petrongolo gives the Adam Smith lecture at the EALE (European Association of Labour Economists) Conference in Uppsala, on "Gender gaps and the structure of local labor markets". EALE is a broad-based organisation with members from both within and outside of Europe, and organises international conferences and workshop in the field of labour economics in addition to publishing the journal Labour Economics.
