Prompted by the release of the Inter-American Development Bank 2017 Flagship report, Learning Better: Public Policy for Skills Development, the conference addressed the defining issue of the age, the relationship between the acquisition of skills that are suitable for the rapidly changing conditions of contemporary labour markets, technological transitions and innovation frontiers.
