Dr Ghazala Azmat has been appointed Specialist Advisor to the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee, a Parliament body set up to examine the Government’s performance on equalities issues.
Dr Azmat will advise the Women and Equalities Committee on the gender pay gap inquiry. More information on the scope of the gender pay gap inquiry can be found here.
