QMs MSc Economics Partners with Frontier Economics

The School of Economics and Finance has secured a partnership for its MSc Economics programme with Frontier Economics, Europe’s leading economic consultancy.

From September this year, the partnership will offer our MSc Economics students the opportunity to be taught by Frontier’s expert economists during their MSc studies, and to enter paid internships with the company. The internships will allow students to work on current projects, which could involve anything from regulation to competition policy, litigation, public policy or business strategy. The best performing student overall will receive the Frontier Economics Cash Prize.

Frontier Economics (Frontier) is an economics consultancy which provides economic advice to public and private sector clients on matters of competition policy, public policy, regulation, business strategy and behavioural economics.  Students in the School of Economics and Finance will benefit highly from this collaboration and the knowledge and experience Frontier Economics are able to offer.

Programme Director Dr Renato Faccini commented: “We are delighted that students on the MSc Economics will have the opportunity to study and work alongside the eminent professionals at Frontier Economics. I am sure that the knowledge and experience Frontier has to offer will be highly beneficial in helping our students fulfil their potential at both the academic and professional level.”
