Saving precious metals, such as platinum and gold, from the drain

30 April 2010

As reported in the Daily Express, technology developed by Professor Alice Sullivan and Dr John Wilson, backed by government seed-funding, is being used to save precious metals including platinum and gold, which are regularly disposed of through industrial processing. Queen Mary’s spin-out housecleans company, PhosphonicSTM , has developed a powder filtration system that provides substantial savings for metal refiners and electronics, chemical and pharmaceutical end-users.
