Biology Underlying Mental Health and Resilience

We draw on our expertise in neuroscience, genetic, epigenetics and neuroendocrinology to study the biology of individual differences in mental health and wellbeing. One of our core research interests is in gene-environment interplay: we research how genetic and environmental factors come together to cause mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression, and the neural processes involved.
