Published:

Dr Richard Johnson, a lecturer in US Politics and Policy at Queen Mary has told the Express that there is nothing to stop Donald Trump from issuing a general pardon to everyone who took part in the assault on the Capitol last week. Dr Johnson discussed the idea of the 25th Amendment being invoked, he said: "On impeachment, I think it is possible, maybe probable, that the House of Representatives would vote on articles of impeachment against him but that is as far as I think it will go.”
