Professor Tim Bale, Four Labour contenders search for a winning formula

Four candidates are vying to lead Britain’s Labour party into another five years of opposition but all are struggling to articulate a clear strategy for victory at the next general election in 2020. Commenting on one of the candidates - 66-year-old Jeremy Corbyn - Professor Tim Bale said: “I do worry about a party that puts someone with absolutely no chance of winning on the ballot, given their presence will cause voters to question whether Labour is serious.”
