Profile

Leonard Soicher is both Head of Algebra and Senior Tutor in the School of Mathematical Sciences. His research interests include algebraic graph theory, design theory, and discrete mathematical computation. He is closely involved with GAP, the open-source system for group theory and discrete mathematics. He is Chair of the GAP Council and has developed widely used GAP packages for studying graphs with group actions and for combinatorial designs.
