Zain is a second year PhD student whose research interests are in algebra and combinatorics, primarily in the representation theory of the symmetric groups. His supervisor is Matt Fayers, and his PhD is funded by the EPSRC.


He is also one of the PhD representatives, a member of the EDI committee, one of the organisers of QuIPS and one of the organisers of the Junior London Algebra Colloquium.
