Postgraduate Research Day 2013 - Friday 17th May

The SMS Postgraduate Research Day will be taking place this Friday (17th May).

Students and Staff are encouraged to attend this enjoyable event, organised by the Director of Postgraduate Research Studies, Dr Klages, which will give you the opportunity to learn about the diverse range of PhD research taking place in our School.

Our third-year PhD students will be presenting a variety of talks throughout the day in Maths room 203 and posters competing for the Ann Cook Prize, created by second-year PhD students, will be on display in the Maths Foyer.

Attendees are invited to enjoy a buffet lunch and a drinks reception at the end of the day.

Please refer to the attached schedule for timings and information. Please note that as the first talk will begin at 11:30 you should aim to arrive in room 203 by 11:20 am in order to ensure you are seated beforehand.

Please do not hesitate to contact me (using the below details) should you have any questions regarding the event.
