On Tuesday 4 February, The School of Mathematical Sciences hosted a successful Maths Alumni Careers Evening.
The event took place in the newly-refurbished Maths building and provided around 50 Maths students with the opportunity to chat with those who have previously studied Maths at Queen Mary University of London.
Attendees also had the chance to find out more about Maths alumni’s employment, what their jobs involve, as well as getting tips and career advice.
Attending careers events is a great way to gain confidence in meeting and networking with a range of different people, from alumni to employers.
