Climate change is raising sea levels and increasing flood risk around the world. How can we predict future impacts, decide how strong sea defences need to be, and work out who should pay for them?
These are challenges you’d solve as an actuary: someone who uses maths and statistical models to work out risk. In this session with Queen Mary, University of London, you’ll discover how actuarial science and climate science work together to use data, model risk, and support decisions about the future.
