Your Library Survey is now live

Help us to improve your Library Services experience.

We are seeking your input on our service and facilities, as part of our ongoing commitment to provide essential information resources, spaces, expertise and services to everyone within the university community. 

Access Your Library Survey The survey should only take around 15 minutes to complete. 

As a thank you for taking part, you will have the choice to be entered into a prize draw to win one £100 voucher or one of two £50 vouchers from One4All. The closing date for the prize draw will be midnight on Monday 22 April. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted within three weeks of the closing date.   

Library Services will share the outcomes of the survey including insights and common themes and we will provide regular updates of the actions we will be taking as a result of your responses. 

FAQs

When will the survey run?  
The survey is launching on Monday 25 March and will run until midnight on Monday 22 April.    

How will I be invited to participate?  
Select students will receive a personal invitation to their Queen Mary email accounts.  

The email will include a link to participate in the survey. A further reminder email will be sent part way through the survey period.   

You can also access this survey from the link above or from QR codes that can be found around campus. 

Is there an incentive to participating? 
As a thank you for taking part, all currently enrolled students at Queen Mary will be entered into a prize draw to win one £100 voucher or one of two £50 vouchers. The closing date for the prize draw will be midnight on Monday 22 April. Winners will be chosen randomly by Alterline and contacted within three weeks of the closing date. 

You will be asked to provide contact details if you wish to be entered into the draw, but these will not be linked to your responses, which will be treated anonymously.    

How long will it take to complete the survey? 
We have found this survey takes, on average, 15 minutes to complete. 

Are responses to the survey anonymous?  
Yes, all responses will be anonymised. Your name and University email address have been provided only for the purpose of inviting you to participate. User data and responses will be held and processed in line with University requirements for data management and privacy.   

What happens next?  
Library Services will share the outcomes of the survey including insights to the responses and common themes. We will then begin working on the creation of new initiatives in response to the feedback received, aiming to further enhance and refine your overall experience with us and our services. All suggestions will be seriously reviewed and you will see noticeable changes by the following term.
