Finishing touches to the Mile End Library

As work progresses to build the two-storey extension to Mile End Library, we are developing final plans for the interior layout, seating and other furnishings that will make up these new learning and research spaces.

Making the most of natural and enhanced lighting and designed for ease of movement and comfort for all our readers, these quiet learning and research areas will be furnished with individual desks and study pods, as well as a small number of enclosed group learning rooms equipped with hybrid study/working facilities.  

We have chosen a shortlist of furniture, to maximise the available space whilst also delivering a high-quality learning and research environment, and we would like your input to help with finalising the look and feel of the spaces.
