Printing for Students

Printing, scanning, and copying, is available - self-service - for students throughout the university.

There are printers located across all campuses for use by students, will all devices offering both copying and scanning facilities alongside printing.

If you print a document you have 24 hours to collect it at any printer. You choose the printer, swipe your student ID card at the terminal, and release the jobs you’d like to print from your personal queue.

Printing jobs can be sent to printers from a workstation PC in any Library Services building by choosing the Print option, or from any personal device via the WebPrint option on the MyPrint Portal.

You can access your MyPrint account here:

Scans are automatically sent from the printer to your university email.

Queen Mary University Students and Staff members use their University ID to access the printers.

The cost of printing and photocopying is automatically charged to your MyPrint account, which is linked to your student ID card. Scanning on devices is free and will be linked to your QM email address.
