Email for Students
We supply all students with a QMUL email address during their time here. Our email service is provided by Microsoft Office 365, which also offers a QMUL-wide shared calendaring system, and access from mobile devices.
Student email accounts are automatically created during the application/enrolment process. Details of your Queen Mary IT account, including an email address, will be sent to the your personal email address prior to the start of your course.
Official QMUL communications to students are sent to QMUL email accounts, so it is important you check it regularly.

All incoming email is checked for viruses and we have measures in place to block most junk email before it hits your Inbox but occasionally genuine email sometimes slip through the filters.
IT Services will never ask for your QMUL password details. You should make sure you are using a secure password and Multifactor Authentication for your accounts.
