We are very pleased to announce that applications for the School of History Taster Day series 2019 are now open. We are very proud of our Taster Days, of which this is our eighth series. Last year almost 400 students applied to attend.We are offering three dates this year, all hosted at our Mile End campus in London:• Tuesday, 25 June 2019• Wednesday, 26 June 2019• Thursday, 27 June 2019This year we are offering sessions on a number of exciting topics from Fake News in Medieval England to the history of piracy. We also have some more conventional sessions, such as who caused the Cold War and The First World War in London. These sessions are aimed at year 12 (lower sixth form) students who may be interested in studying history at university.
